<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Safety is one of our company's core values, and as such we aim to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and collaborators, and to prevent any incident that could compromise their well-being. As part of the celebration of the <strong>Occupational Health and Safety Week at Nanomate</strong>, we organised various activities to improve the safety and health of our employees.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><img class="alignright wp-image-3779" src="https://nanomate.es/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Nanomate-Safety-Week-7.jpg" alt="Semana de Seguridad | Nanomate" width="470" height="313" />We started the week with an activity aimed at promoting healthy habits among our team. Together with the company <strong>Bicilicuadora</strong>, we set up electric bicycles connected to blenders so that our team could mix their own natural juices while exercising. The activity was a great success and the team had fun and enjoyed a healthy breakfast.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is important to emphasise that occupational health and safety is not only key for preventing accidents at work, but also plays a fundamental role in the productivity and efficiency of a company. At Nanomate we encourage the sharing of experiences with peers as a learning tool. That is why on Tuesday, we held a session to share anecdotes, experiences, and safety incidents in order to identify possible risk situations and prevent them in the future.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Under this premise, we have recognised those employees who maintain safe working practices within the company and who demonstrate outstanding safety behaviour on a day-to-day basis. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The awards (<strong>Nanocoins</strong>) were presented on Wednesday to four members of staff who used protective equipment correctly, maintained thorough order and cleanliness in the workplace, reported hazardous situations or ensured their safety and the safety of others.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We also wanted to use the day to highlight the work of our <strong>QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)</strong> department, a team of highly trained occupational health and safety professionals who are responsible for monitoring compliance with rules and regulations in this area of our business, and for providing advice and support to our employees on all matters relating to occupational health and safety.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Thursday we held the first </span><b>#SafetyDay</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, an event that we will be holding throughout the year, which consisted of an informative session in which the QHSE department provided information about safety issues to the whole company, explaining the actions we have taken over the past year, those we are implementing this year and future actions. These actions focus on consultation and participation of all employees on prevention and awareness plans, on adaptation and improvement of facilities, etc.</span></p>

At Nanomate we believe that education and training are essential to ensure the safety of our employees. For this reason, various training and <strong>awareness programmes</strong> are carried out throughout the year in cooperation with the People department.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the activities of this week, we aim to promote a culture of occupational health and safety and to recognise those employees who excel in these practices. Safety is one of our priorities and we firmly believe that only a safe and healthy working environment can ensure the success of our team and the sustainable growth of our business.</span></p>
